In consideration for being permitted to participate in the Kingman Route 66 Fest Shows on Wheels event, I acknowledge and agree as follows:
I understand that participation in this event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to vehicle accidents, collisions, theft, vandalism, weather conditions, fire, personal injury, death, and damage to vehicles or other personal property. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation in the event.
On behalf of myself, my heirs, personal representatives, successors, assigns, family members, passengers, and anyone claiming through me, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue the City of Kingman, Arizona, its elected officials, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, sponsors, contractors, and representatives from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to my participation in the event, including claims for personal injury, death, property damage, or loss, except to the extent caused by the sole gross negligence or willful misconduct of the City.
I further agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the City of Kingman, its elected officials, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, sponsors, contractors, and representatives from and against any claims, demands, damages, liabilities, costs, expenses, or attorney fees arising out of my participation in the event or the acts or omissions of myself, my passengers, guests, or invitees.
I understand and agree that the City of Kingman does not provide insurance coverage for my vehicle, trailer, camper, display items, personal property, bodily injury, or any losses that may occur during participation in the event. I certify that my vehicle is properly registered, licensed, and insured in accordance with Arizona law and that such insurance will remain in effect throughout my participation in the event. Proof of insurance must be provided upon request.
I further release and waive any claim against the City of Kingman for loss of, theft of, or damage to any vehicle, trailer, camper, display item, or personal property associated with my participation in the event.
I agree to comply with all event rules and directions provided by event staff, law enforcement, and City representatives. I authorize event staff to direct, reposition, or relocate vehicles when necessary for public safety, emergency access, traffic control, or event operations.
I have carefully read this Agreement, fully understand its contents, and sign it voluntarily. I understand that by signing this Agreement, I am giving up substantial legal rights.
